# PasswordMe

- Free, with no account, for iPhone and iPad (iOS 17.0 or later, iPadOS 17.0 or later).
- It is a generator, not a password manager. PasswordMe does not autofill passwords. By default, generated secrets are not saved. Optional encrypted history can be enabled and stays on your device. Presets save the rules, never the password those rules produced.
- Passwords run from 4 to 256 characters, with exact uppercase, lowercase, number, and symbol counts, an approved-symbol list, ambiguous-character removal, and start, end, repeat, sequence, and keyboard-pattern rules. Impossible combinations are reported before generation.
- It also makes memorable passphrases from English or Spanish word lists, pronounceable passwords, pattern-checked PINs and codes, a Memory Phrase, and bulk batches of unique credentials.
- The password, PIN, and Wi-Fi pages on this site each generate one result in the browser and send nothing. The passphrase page is a guide only; there is no passphrase generator on the website.
- The app is ad-supported, so it can use the network. Generated secrets are excluded from analytics, logs, and ad requests. Optional history is off by default, stored on the device, encrypted at rest, and behind Face ID or Touch ID. PasswordMe Pro removes the ads.
